Beijing Day 2 & 3: Snack Street & Good Eats

This delicious post spans not one but two days of our time in Beijing due to the fact that about 75% of what we did was eat yummy food. Part of this is because Amir lives just off of Nanluogu Xiang street which has snacck food stalls up and down the street. As he explained to us, Chinese do not get together without food so most social activities center around food in some capacity like wandering up and down this street trying out diffferent stalls or gathering around a tasty dinner of duck or a big bowl of spicy, Sichuan stir fry for lunch.

SNACK STREET

DUCK FOR DINNER + DANCING (Sunday)

SICHUAN STIR FRY FOR LUNCH (Monday)

After our final lunch with Amir, Court and I grabbed our packs and headed to the designated hotel for our 5PM meeting to get started on the Trans-Siberian...

Up Next: THE journey begins!

I'm belatedly drooling over this post. And missing China. Also, pleased that churros have hit it big in Beijing(?)!
