Train 1: Beijing to Hohhot

Train 1: Beijing (China) to Hohhot (China): 359Mi (484.7KM) -- 9 Hours

Our first train from Beijing to Hohhot (also Huhahaote) was pretty benign because it was only a night train, it was climate controlled, and it had soft beds (the train trifecta). A short 9 hours later and we were in the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, which we still had no idea how to pronounce (even after asking some Chinese speakers). Hu-hot? Ho-hot? Hotandtot? Hot toddy? Tater tot? Thankfully our honcho (Rita) was able to clear it up for us: Ho-hot.
