Just wanted to say one final "Ni Hao" from China! We are in Nanning, China and just bought bus tickets to cross the border into Vietnam tomorrow morning. We should arrive in Hanoi tomorrow evening and we are all very excited about the prospects of croissants, cafes, and possibly even some need to speak French (well I am excited about that).
We were on the train all day today so nothing to exciting to share, but we did pass through some gorgeous scenery. I saw a lot of farmers with conical hats tending to their rice paddies with water buffalo hanging out nearby.
